Curb Appeal
First, look at the outside of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your home from the view of a passerby. What do you notice first? What would've-been-eye-catching features seem to fade into the background? Acknowledging this helps us to decide what actions we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with retouched paint and colorful greenery we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price. Curb Appeal Checklist > Welcome Home Does your home seem to say, "Hello From Your New Welcome Home" to a buyer? Examining your home from a buyer's view, I'll suggest adjustments that improve sales appeal.I'll advise you put out of sight things that give the illusion of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and play time works of art should get stored away too. I can help you simplify the decor of house. Disheveled or dirty spots make your home seem unkempt and buyers have a more difficult time picturing themselves living there. I'll look over each room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively influence the sale. Potential buyers like a house that invites them inside. Anything that could be uninviting should get moved out so that your home will have general appeal to buyers. Welcome Home Checklist > Setting the Stage I'll tell you when for the Open House, because everything comes together to set the stage for what buyers can look forward to after they close on your house. Lighting is a mood changer and we'll draw back curtains, and create light where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests tour your home and make sure a delightful fragrance circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your couch and bed. Buyers should feel like your home is their future home. |
